Shipments delivered via Rapid Express Saver will not necessarily be delivered to the addressee personally. The Carrier may deliver a package to the addressee shown on the barcode label or to any other person appearing to have authority to accept delivery of the package on the addressee's behalf (such as persons at the same premises as the addressee or neighbours of the addressee). When shipping to residential address, if the drop off location is in a 'safe' area, then the courier driver will leave the parcel at your doorstep.
Personal effects consignments may be subject to import transaction fees and a charge for customs clearance processing prior to clearance. Expect clearance delays for up to 48 hours. Customer should fill out form B534 (UNACCOMPANIED PERSONAL EFFECTS STATEMENT) for personal effects older than 12 months and include with invoices to help with clearance.
New personal effects (or less than 12 months) declared on the B534 form will be held by AU Customs pending duty & GST payable. This duty/GST is separate to the $150 +10% GST personal effect Clearance Processing fee.
Before sending your parcel to Australia, please make sure that none of the items in your parcels contravene the restrictions imposed by customs at destination.

After you have paid for a shipping service to Australia, you will be redirected to a page where you can download and print out the relevant shipping labels, i.e
AWB (Courier Air Waybills - barcode) - Proforma or Commercial invoice - Address label.
The above documents are standard for any international shipment.
Please note, if additional documentation is required for the import of any particular item, it is the customer's responsibility to provide them at destination.
Goods travelling by 'Cargo' are subject to different restrictions to those travelling as carry-on luggage.
A shipment to Australia is deemed unacceptable if: it is classified as hazardous material, dangerous goods, prohibited or restricted articles by IATA (International Air Transport Association), ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organisation) or other relevant organisation. Many items which appear harmless in everyday use can pose danger on air transport and are consequently forbidden for transport.
The following page displays a sampling of common prohibited and restricted goods.
Your parcel must be boxed and well packaged. This will reduce the risk of damage to any item during transit or any associated automated distribution process.
Please be aware the item is not taken by hand from collection to destination and will visit many sorted facilities on its journey. For that reason, you need to protect the items to ensure they make it from A to B safely.
The following packaging guidelines are recommendations to assist you in packaging your shipment:
When you book a shipping service to Australia, you will be able to choose an appropriate level of cover for your shipment. We offer enhanced parcel protection for up to £2000 for a small additional fee.
If you do not purchase enhanced Shipment Protection, your shipment will be only covered to a maximum value of £50 as per the limited liability set out in our Terms & Conditions and subject to your parcel passing minimum packaging requirements.
Please note that the declared value for customs purposes is not related to the declared value selected for Shipment Protection. We encourage all customers to purchase shipment protection cover for loss or damage.

One of our key aims at RapidParcel.com is to make sending parcels and packages overseas as easy, quick and manageable as possible for our customers. If you need to make a parcel delivery to the Sunshine Coast you may be worried about the time you’ll have to spend tracking down the best deal, filling in complicated booking forms, printing out labels and all the other little details involved in the process. At RapidParcel.com we simplify the whole process – leaving you more time to build your business.
In recent years this traditional tourist area has been repositioned as a key driver of innovative and entrepreneurial businesses, generated in large part by the University of the Sunshine Coast’s Innovation Centre. This led to the region being named an ‘Innovation Hotspot’ by CNBC Business magazine and being described as having every chance of becoming ‘Australia’s no-worries-answer to Silicon Valley’. This emphasis on innovation makes shipping to the Sunshine Coast an increasingly attractive proposition for a broad range of businesses and, as this demand for Sunshine Coast parcel delivery grows, we at RapidParcel.com are in the perfect position to meet it.
Many of our customers are seeking to make just the odd delivery, perhaps sending a gift to a family friend who’s emigrated overseas or shipping a keepsake to a much-missed relative. In these cases we go out of our way to ensure that these customers receive the best possible service at a price they won’t find elsewhere, but we also often deal with companies wishing to make multiple or bulk deliveries, and it’s here that our size, scale and experience come into their own.
The high-tech solution to saving you time
If your business needs to organise repeat shipping to the Sunshine Coast, you’ll doubtless be concerned about the amount of valuable time this process could take up – time that you’d rather be spending running the rest of your business. That’s why we’ve developed our bulk upload facility. What this means is that you can, through our website, organise multiple deliveries to different addresses at the same time and via the same simple process. And it doesn’t stop when your delivery is on its way. You’ll be able to track multiple deliveries on one page of our site, allowing you to track the progress of each individual component of your bulk upload in one easy step and thus cutting down, yet again, on time and clerical work. So, the time and work you have to devote to making even the most complicated shipping arrangement is kept to the bare minimum, while still allowing you access to everything else we have to offer, such as exclusive deals with the world’s best couriers and very favourable corporate rates. And the same superior conditions apply if you’re arranging a package delivery to Canberra or need to source the best Gold Coast shipping.
Our carriers are available to service your delivery needs at the best rates on the market. Thanks to decades of experience with our courier partners and the volume of business that we do with them we have been able to negotiate exceptional deals, some of them exclusive for RapidParcel.com customers. So if you wish to see just how affordable it can be to send your next package to the Sunshine Coast just complete our Rapid Quote form and choose from the best.
